What started as a solo photo mission transformed into a joyful gathering of strangers from international students to young families, everyone who walked through joined in, all drawn together by a shared desire to live, laugh, and connect on the exuberant night of the Lunar New Year.
As the smiles multiplied, it hit me: this is what it means to be truly alive. Not merely existing, but actively embracing the present, seizing the day, and finding joy in the simplest moments. We didn't need scripts or rehearsals, just open hearts and a willingness to share a moment.
Pause an instant, and take a quick itinerary of where you are in terms of life and relationships. Don't be afraid to step outside your comfort zone, say yes to spontaneous invites, and connect with the beautiful souls around you. Life is a journey, not a destination; the most vibrant memories are often made with the people you least expect.
So, put down your phone sometimes, look up, and smile at a stranger. You never know what connections you might spark, or what spontaneous celebration might unfold
